For many years I have had a major interest in photography.. As a skateboarder I began shooting pictures of friends riding skateboards and BMXs. I was published a couple of times in low-budget 'alternative' sport magazines. I then found photojournalism which blew me away - so much so I decided to study it at university. I hold a BA(Hons) Photojournalism and HND Photojournalism. Recent commissions have been for clients such as Atkins Rail, Paul Smith and Education Weekly (USA).

I was born in Italy where I grew up and studied graphic design and photography. I started as assistant photographer until embarking on my own career as a freelance photographer, collaborating with magazines and photographic studios as well as working on private commissions. I worked on different subjects ranging from still-life to portraiture, landscape to reportage. I also always pursue personal projects that have prompted exhibitions and recognition over the years. I taught photography workshops and classes for the Educational Dept. of the Council of Milan and found this to be one of my best and exacting experiences. Photography is a raison d’etre, a passion and a means of expressing myself. I love the idea of transferring this valuable gift to others.

Born in London, and raised in leafy Buckinghamshire, I first picked up a camera at age ten. Early attempts to photograph animals in the fields somehow led me to becoming a freelance photographer and writer. I’ve been working as a photographer for more years than I care to think about, shooting in just about every genre of the discipline. I’ve been lucky enough to travel and live in some amazing places including a year spent on a nature reserve in Botswana as the park photographer. I work for both editorial and private clients, and love the fact that every day brings a different challenge with it.

Ever since I can remember I have been interested in photography from my first 110 Instamatic at the age of seven to the medium format professional cameras I use today. I have recently finished my masters degree in Photographic Studies, this has left me an enquiring and thoughtful practitioner, one who is always striving to challenge and educating myself. I am an eclectic photographer and am interested in many different styles and subject matter. This is in a sense a reflection of my personality as I am generally inquisitive and love travelling, seeing new places and meeting and interacting with people from different cultures.

Photography is either simple or complicated, its simple if you know what your doing and complicated if you don't.
